Jerk or Justice? You decide!
Tell me Guardians ... Am I a jerk or did I get justice?
Just was running the weekly heroic with 2 others (they were together). I was running voidwalker and creating massive orbs with bad juju and obsidian mind to help my fireteam.
All going well until I get to the cliff at the Nexus. I stop on the cliff and begin to snipe the minotaurs and the other 2 guys push me off. I fall and die, they t-bag me and don't revive me right away.
They eventually revive me but then hide behind the pillar while I try to clear house. I die without the help. They t-bag me again.
I switch to sunsinger and gain my super. I then run right under the Nexus and die. I watch them as they try to start fighting from behind the pillar. Helpless, they both die. As he wipe counter hits 1 second, I resurrect run across the map to behind the pillar - and have a seat. I wait for both of them to depart.
1 sends me a nasty message - I responded that they shouldn't have been trolling in the weekly to start. I basically solo the boss as 2 others join and we finish up.
You be the judge! Am I a jerk or did I get justice?
*this is the first time ever I've had issues with randoms in the weekly heroic*

Edit 2: those saying I was camping of cheesing, thanks for your opinions. I think there's a difference between cheesing and strategical spots. Boss can still damage me and I have to fight a major Minotaur - to me that's not a cheese if I'm fighting a major, DPSing the boss and covering my fireteam. That's my opinion. But it's funny that people will say that's a cheese and it's terrible, then swing across the Crota bridge everyone lol
Edit 3: wow! I didn't expect this to be trending and to get this type of response! Thanks for the kind words Guardians. I know deep down that the overwhelming majority of this community is positive. I was just sharing a story from today and trying to participate in the community. Cheers!

Pff. You simply did them justice. If my son were being bullied, he tells the proper authorities (I understand you had no one to tell), and they do nothing about it, I'd tell him to fight back. I understand this isn't wise, but I'm being the "fight your own fight" kind of guy, the way I myself grew up. Good way to pay em' back.

Technically they didn't have to depart, it really is there fault and you did almost little to no harm, so they are to blame for stupidity.

I like getting ahead and waiting on the edge of that cliff, just incase someone decides to try and push me off. I act as if I don't notice them, but as soon as that little green dot gets too close I jump and the over run and fall. Of course I dance and just work on the Minotaur while that player hopefully struggles.

Well played, it was them being the jerks to begin with, you just outplayed them in the end. I have had several do that before. and I just let them play their game wait until they leave then finish the match on my own and laugh about it.

Done well. What losers, I have no problem with one member of the fireteam staying up top sniping, they can call out majors and if both guys on the deck go down, then they can come down and dish out revives. Especially important when you're using a character that's not 34. It's a good tactic to keep one up top.
