Oh no nothing to be excited about. I think the shotgun sound promising, I like the armor aesthetically but the perks are bad.
I think the OPs point, and I know mine is, is that even though, yes, they lead off with pretty bad exotics, it's way to early to declare that all y2 exotics will be this shitty.
Which I'm seeing a lot of posts saying exactly that

I think people are expressing their disappointment to the new crop of exotics so far. Since we are replacing a lot of favorites with what bungie is revealing thus far IMO it's been disappointing. I'm hoping they have the good stuff coming and are just getting the "stand asides-apotheosis veil" type armor out of the way first Personally I would have started with an upper tier weapon or armor to get the excitement level up right away then release some of these niche exotics then end with the bigger/better stuff (assuming they have bigger/better stuff lol)

Yea I hope they get better as well, I'm at work so I haven't been able to check them, I'm hearing good things about a fusion rifle though. And yea idk what their reasoning was, maybe they thought ending the thing with the shitty ones would be bad.
