Yeah I completely understand the year one weapons being left behind...I just hope this won't happen anymore in the future.
Bungie has this one chance to get their new weapons and perks right and balanced or else they're going to want to leave the year two weapons behind too later on.
Idk if I'd play anymore if the same cycle goes on for 10 years, I just wanna be able to carry over my favorite weapons all the way to year 10.

This is what I posted about it just a sec ago. It's gonna be a ten year game and you want to use year one guns all the way through? How does that many any sense? Imo that would be such a let down just because year one weapons are so op. If nine years from now everyone still ran fate bringer, black hammer, ghorn and thorn for pvp, destiny would be a huge dissapointment imo.

It's not about keeping the same loadout for the whole franchise, it's just about wanting to carry over our favorite weapons. I'm open to using the new gear too, it'd just be nice if we can carry over our coveted gear

Yeah. I think so too. I'm a bit gutted but I've had 1600 hours out of the game and counting. Probably be closer to 1800 before TTK so the weapons have definitely been used enough. Looking forward to exploring new options and finding the new fatebringer and ghorn equivalent!
