Looks great. But they seem to forget that people play for the overall experience. And the overall experience I'm getting is that none of this will matter come this time 2016.

Did your time spent playing cod black ops matter to your opening position in black ops 2? Not bloody likely.

Different games. Playing a CoD game, you know it is a self contained experience. What Destiny was sold as (and is sold as despite these decisions) is on ongoing narrative. They are different.
