just need a confirmation here, I can answer my own lore questions:
the vex are the most powerful race of darkness, correct? the cabal coming in at second, then house of wolves, then hive, then fallen? I count house of wolves separately because they are so colossal

The Fallen and Cabal aren't Darkness, they're just misunderstood. The Vex worship the Darkness, and are corrupted through their Axis Minds. The Hive are pretty much the physical embodiment of the Darkness

really? corrupted through Axis Minds? I was under the impression the Axis Minds were given directions to do specific tasks by higher vex, such as the sol divisive, or even the dark heart

I feel like the Axis Minds got corrupted by the Dark Heart a bit, and that got passed in throughout the entire Vex network

The idea is that the vex couldn't comprehend the power of the darkness, so the only option for them was to worship it and serve it. I may be wrong but that's what I'm thinking

If you look at the Heart and Qodron, they share the smoky Darkness. During their worship, the Vex affected the Heart and the Heart affected the Vex [spoiler]Hello, btw[/spoiler]

Ya it might be a mutual thing like some kind of symbiotic relationship but I believe the vex are only with the darkness because it couldn't be fully understood by the vex. They work for the darkness, and in return, receive some of its power. That's only speculation though. [spoiler]Long time no see :)[/spoiler]

The hive are the only race tied directly to the darkness. The Vex seem to be unable to compute the darkness, as evidenced by Sol Divisive grimoire: "If the vex found worship and devotion more effective than any other behaviour, they would adopt worship. Whatever the vex found - or made - in the Garden, it transcends even their power", The Cabal just seem to be doing a Roman empire across the universe, and the Fallen are basically a bunch of refugees trying to get their traveller back. Based on raw power and ability I'd say the vex are the most powerful race

As for the house of wolves, they were and again are broken and bound to the queen, I'd put them below kings if you are doing fallen houses separately, but to be honest I'd still just put them with fallen...as an aside we don't know for sure that ALL of the fallens assets are committed to the sol system either, or if there are non fallen elenski, variks says there aren't, but no reason to think he can't be wrong.....also I don't believe the cabal are associated with the darkness
