Shadow of veils has a lot more aim assist than her benevolence. Especially when you use ambush on her benevolence and actually lose aim assist. Let's do math. These number are according to Planet Destiny's database. Her Benevolence has a base aim assist of 40. When you get the hidden hand perk on it you get only 10 more aim assist. What gives a whopping 20 aim assist is if you get the shortgaze scope. This bring the aim assist up to 70 which is the max aim assist Her Benevolence can have. (When using ambush you lose 10 aim assist as well. In my case I gain 10 from hidden hand and lose 10 from ambush so my HB only has 40 aim assist.) Now with Shadow of Veils the base aim assist is 69. So basically the base aim assist is 1 Aim Assist point away from Her Benevolence's max aim assist. When you put shortgaze on Shadow of Veils you get a whopping 84 aim assist. Shadow of Veils has the second highest aim assist only second to Prudence (with shortgaze) which has 89.
