Lost Sols (does it annoy you that I mentioned him? Lost Sols Lost Sols Lost Sols Lost Sols. I'm brown-nosing? No. I'm speaking on behalf of a friend.) isn't here to provide some good lengthy feedback, so I'm going to sub in. Full disclosure, I've preordered TTK. I did so knowing full well the repercussions of what that meant. It could be overpriced (which it most certainly is), they could be blowing smoke up our hind end (which they have and continue to do), and it could end up being like TDB. And despite that, I preordered anyway. Now when I say let's talk about honesty, I'm talking directly to DeeJ and his cohorts at Bungie. Honesty is sorely lacking at Bungie. It is a commodity that they lack in great quantity. What do I mean by that? It's simple. Yes, they've shown us changes that they've made to the tower and the UI. And those changes look great. Much needed improvement. But every time they show us something, they gloss over so much else and avoid talking about the very things we keep asking them. Etheric light. Reforging. Whether or not one class can buy armor for another class. And on and on. They tell us what they want to tell us and not what we want to hear. They show us exotic blueprints and skirt around the issue of year 1 exotics being "left behind". Obsolescence is real! But they don't want to address it. They say don't dismantle anything, but won't tell us why. We are just supposed to take them at their word. And I just can't do that. Because it's dishonest. I don't trust dishonest people. Oh I'm gonna play the game. Yes. Absolutely. But until september 15th everything they say will be taken with a grain of salt. Because they are dishonest. What does bungie need to do? They need to be upfront and honest. They need to answer real questions, not the made up ones that DeeJ puts in his weekly fluffdates (to borrow a term from Sols). And he will swear up and down he pulled those from the forums. More dishonesty. Believe you me, they know which questions we want answers to, and they are avoiding them. Do I think writing this post will make them suddenly turn over a new leaf and embrace honesty and transparency? Hell no! But I am putting them on notice again (while giving them 40 dollars for TTK). As a customer and a member of the Destiny community, I am saying to you DeeJ, I'm tired of the hype. I'm tired of the avoidance. I'm tired of you acting hip and cool. Be straight forward. Be honest. And then you will earn my respect. I will leave with a few questions that I would like answered. If you read this and you wish to, please leave your questions here as well. Is reforging a thing of the past? Is etheric light being removed from the game? Can a Warlock purchase titan gear for the titan? Will we start at 0 legendary marks or have 200 of our existing marks converted?
