it does exist and it's very rich. But it's not elaborated on enough and leaves you with more questions than answers. It kind of feels like there are millions of different things in destiny lore but as soon as you start learning about one thing you reach a dead end, and move on to the next. hopefully that changes with destiny 2

Its a huge story once it all gets put together so I kinda understand the lack of explanation.
