A zombie virus is actually not that far away.
Scientists have discovered a plant deep in the amazone that contains a certain cell that "infects" the brain of organism.
On 13th august, american scientist discovered this plant.
The cell it contains is very tiny and enters the body via the skin.
There it would enter the veins and makes it way to the brain.
The cell contains a special enzym that allows it to use the brain for its own purpose.
The enzym only reacts to a special enzym that only the human brain has.
When the cell "takes over" the brain, it causes to host to get bad headaches, stomach pains and other minor things.
After around 2 days, the host gets hallicunations and may become aggresive.
The plant is currently under research in an texas research centre.
They are currently working on a way to cure or kill the cell taking control.
But in end i made everything up and just wasted your time.

That was actually pretty clever.

Actually there is a fungus that causes a endured Zombie state to Ants in South America. That's why in the The Last of Us a city in Texas was one of the first American city to get infected. That game showed what might happen if the fungus evolved.
-
Asshole
-
There actually are multiple species of fungus/fungi that take over brain function of insects such as ants
-
Dammit I thought this was real But I'm glad it's not
-
You should look up this thing called muscle fatigue and failure.... Zombies could technically never be real. Srry
-
Jokes on you time well spent

If you're gonna make stupid posts like this, can you at least use proper grammar so you don't sound severely autistic?

Sorry Bapao, educate yourself. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiocordyceps_unilateralis

there actually is a virus that infects insects, it infects the brain and it starts to control the body and the ant turns into a zombie
-
Lol that ending
-
What is an enzym?
-
I actually just made everything up.
No, you didn't. Cordyceps. It's a fungus that infects insects and takes over their brain. Doesn't affect humans though but Last of Us was a sort of look into what could possibly happen if it did.

Edited by Mr Ricebean: 8/26/2015 10:16:10 AMAn enzym that only reacts to a special enzym found in the human brain? So natural selection favoured the ability to mind control a specific species that would only evolve a few billion years later? There's a virus that can reanimate dead bacteria, and bacteria that can control snails and fish, but this plant is complete BS. Edit: Just read through to the end of the post. Whoops.

bapao back with another shitpost just for you guys!

Take the e from amazone, which should be Amazon, and put it at the end of emzym, to make it enzyme. That should make this a little more bearable.

in Dead island, the infection was a mutation f Kuru, a disease spread by Cannibalism in rural pacific regions. in 28 Days Later, it was a disease that filled the victim with pure rage. in real life, it'll be over with in about 5 seconds because we are that used to zombies by now.
