There are gods and powers converging on this system, old machines waking up, [u]old bones whispering flatteries[/u].[/quote] That may seem a little vague until you read the Ghost Fragment: Legends 3 grimoire card (Under Legends and Mysteries in the Allies section) [quote]And thus the Ahamkara were made extinct, their call silenced, [u]their solipsistic flatteries erased[/u]...[/quote] I doubt they would use the exact same word by coincidence. Not to mention any exotic armor that involves Ahamkara, just read their descriptions. So...I guess I win?

9 RepliesCan we make any educated guess as to how long the various aliens have been plaguing us? I'm guessing the fallen were the most recent, the cabal next, the hive, then the vex oldest of all. The fallen have ships and raiding parties The cabal have forward bases, bunkers, and an occasional fortress The hive have ripped the moon down to its core The vex have transformed mercury, parts of Venus, and started on Mars. Amirightoramiright? So do you think in all your lore wisdom you could maybe just try to guess when they all showed up? Judging by the rust, the cabal couldn't have been on mars more than 5 years or so. And by the looks of the sloppily arranged banners and lack of skulls, the fallen showed up... What... 1-2 years ago? I'm guessing the hive have been at it for 1,000 years or +, since your ghost says 'first human to set foot on the moon in centuries'. What's your guess for the vex?

3 RepliesI read some grimoire cards about researchers asking a war mind to help them escape the virtual reality of a Vex, who has made identical copies of them to simulate different outcomes. These researchers then freak out, because they can't be sure what is real and what isn't. (sounds like some weird quantum physics BS tbh. Needing an external observer to determine what is real and what is not. Schrödinger's cat and such) They further proceed to enter a vex mind/gate/spire/vault of glass/whatever with 999 identical copies of them on a HDD with the goal of releasing them onto the Vex Network. 4 questions for you, dear loremaster: 1) WTF? 2) What happened to them after they entered the vex network? 3) What's the point of bringing the copies with them? 4) Why did they freak out because they got simulated? Technically speaking, humans are subjective creatures. I think, therefore I am. What I can feel, taste, etc, is what I consider real. And through myself experiencing these things, and thinking, I basically confirm what's real myself. In how far does it matter that they get simulated? A Vex can't simulate everything (not talking about the Warmind reference here), so just walking out of the lab, and making some holidays on earth, should have solved their problems.
