4 RepliesSo are the Guardians really a tool of the darkness but unaware of it and are being deceived by the traveler and speaker into destroying any threats that may hold up the darkness or be able to stop it!? Example Atheon stole away to command a legion of vex against the corrupted vex in a place and time the darkness couldn't reach until he found a way to defeat it, the darkness (the traveler) through our ghost sends us to take care of it. And the fallen understand in some sense what's going on and have abandoned there duties as guardians and moved to the reef as to hide from the traveler and the Queen, crow and mysterious guardian we get the strangers rifle from are all in cahoots and trying to stear us in the right direction or is this just all crazy talk!?

3 RepliesLOVE this thread! How can I join / follow the Collective? Anon is an awesome read as well... Also, lore question. How likely is it that Oryx got gifted the ability to "take" individuals when he was knighted? I feel like he is actually kind of a weenie and had greater power bestowed on him before launching his invasion to offer a greater chance of success. That being said, I'd bet the other 4 (or more) Hive gods fully expecr Oryx to fail, just as his son did. I would be pretty surprised if a few years from now when this is all fleshed out if we don't look back on Crota and Oryx as cute little diversions that challenged us for a few months. Not to say I'm not all kinds of excited for what should prove to be an awesome expansion with TTK!
