ddos attacks and getting knocked offline

i was playing a strike and i got matched with some guy who was the most useless teammate ever all he did was kill himself and wouldnt help the team at all and after the strike ended i messaged him and called him out on it and then he starting taunting me with ddos threats and eventually he did try to knock me offline.

    Hello, First, I would remove that gamertag from your post. You are violating the Bungie.net code of conduct rule of "name and shame". Second, if you believe someone is booting (DDOS'ing) players in trials, all you have to do is report the player with the in-game tools that Bungie offers. Simply hover over their name and click "report player". There, you can report he/she for cheating & bad connection. Bungie will handle the rest. Every report that is sent in is thoroughly reviewed.
