Self rez is great, yes to self rez you need to die but it can help in Nightfalls and ToO if your team wipes. I prefer Radiant skin when playign solo though so i' m a but more tankier, but then again I barely use Sunginger in PvP.

Yes but theoretically (of course) it should never need to be used if you're doing well. I'm not saying it's useless by any means, just that it doesn't at all fit my play style.
