Hmmm funny you mention context... Doesn't scientific research shed more light on context of our creation than a book created by monks in the Bronze Age?

I like how you assume I'm anti science. The bible isn't a science book. The bible tells us about the aspects of life that science cannot. However that isn't even what the post is about.

The problem is that there is no logical argument anyone can make that things exist in the spiritual realm that you're getting at. The bible makes claims about the natural world thus it does have some grounds to be considered an early attempt at a science book. The fact that you try to split religion into this whole separate dimension just shows how little you understand about the claims that the bible makes.
