I'm not gonna pretend I'm happy I can't use all my year 1 exotics, but it's the right thing to do. If we couldn't use gjallahorn when the dark below came out, then maybe people would try dragons breath. Ask yourself this, how much do you use TDB exotics, HoW exotics are used a lot, unless your a Titan. But that's because eternal warrior is inferior to helm of inmost light IMO, whereas if one was helm of inmost light was a lower level than eternal warrior, it would be more balanced. Bungie may have spent a lot of time designing armour pieces like ruin wings which, despite being amazing IMO, are overlooked by most Titans for helm of Saint-14 or the armourmenterium (sorry if that's the wrong spelling), and you try telling me you frequently use the glasshouse. Bungies decision may seem unfair, but it could have been prevented. If we all used different weapons, like truth over. Gjallahorn, patience and time over icebreaker, bad juju over red death, bungie may not have. Felt like they need to force us into using different exotics.

You're also basically saying that if a weapon or armor piece is good it can't stay because bungie wants us to use different exotics

That is not the message I meant to send. I meant that we all stick to the Same weapons. The charts bungie put out in the 2.0 weapon balancing update proves that. The basic message was. Bungie designed a lot of weapons for destiny, yet a lot of these are practically unused because we all use the Same weapons. Keep in mind a lot of people may feel forced to use weapons such as thorn to match the conpetition
