Hunters are not front line. That would be the Titans.
Titans are the selfless Warriors. The first Guardians forged in the Light. Saved the Last City. Defended it. Built the Great Wall. Escorted Pilgrims. Explored Venus and so on.
Warlocks are the curious thinkers who study the Light and the Darkness far beyond what may be considered moral. The Scientists, if you will.
Hunters are the eager Scouts. Getting in behind enemy lines, surveying the scene to gather vital information.
