Actually, no. The earth is in a zone of our solar system that spans hundred of miles. It's not like if we were an inch closer to our sun we'd burn up. Also, haven't you ever considered the idea that we are a coincidental byproduct of our world? Even if the odds of life developing in our universe were one in a trillion, it's bound to happen somewhere. Also, our earth is not perfectly shaped. It's actually more of a lemon shape to be honest.
