Lol you don't need to be a weatherman to see bad weather (topical atm) or be a game dev to call out bad design, I've been gaming since the early 80s I have played thousands of games and have seen many good and bad design decisions in games, but fanboys like yourself fail to understand this.

So why reply about being a world class dev, smacks of fanboy, try telling most alpha, beta and launch players those features should not have been day 1. Bungie has made many bad design decisions, they have even admitted this.

Edited by dhnkc: 8/23/2015 3:23:27 PMThey had some bad decisions but this is their first game of this kind. This is not CoD where they are experienced with everything CoD related or GTA series... Give them some time. They are passionate about making games and I bet they will fix a lot of stuff and make this game better. Game Dev fixes and improvements take A LOT of time. For you, these changes might be small but from dev point of view these changes might be big. Some small changes might take a month to make because they would break other things in the code. It is not an easy task to change something in this kind of game because you are always at a risk of breaking something else. The most important thing for me is that they listen to their community and they actually fix their game and FIX their bad decisions. They learn. I work with a few game dev studios and I know how hard it is to make a simple game. Maybe that's why I really appreciate what bungie has done/has fixed so far.

I know how long dev takes, I've been a software programmer and designer. Show me a dev who is not passionate about what they do, it's par for the course. Bit of a stretch to say first game of this kind given the years of experience background with halo, if they had made a racing game then fair enough, but destiny is not a massive stretch from their experience and what really is the issue is the arrogance to not buy in expertise or learn from others.
