How cone there's never an mature debates about the game?

I see people either completely insult the game without any good reasoning, and I also see people defend it for not good reasons. I like this game a lot, I started back in December but couldnt even get to level 20 because I was so bored by the story and missions. Then I started up again in April. Now I have played a couple hundred ours. I grinded for gjallahorn like everyone else, and I've completed every single possible thing in this game worth doing. Even though it was fun I still feel completely ripped off by this game (the funny part is that I didnt even pay for it, I system shared to get it), though I did buy the season pass. Even after only spending about $35 on dlc it still feels like I didnt get my moneys worth. The only reason I play is because I want to get exotics to just..... have for no reason really. My one exotic I was always trying to get was the last word, I thought it looked cool and it was op af. So each week I did everything I could to get it to drop, I ran the boring nightfalls, did the same raids like 6 times each, and every other thing that gives out exotic drops. Then a few weeks ago Xur sold it. There it was the gun I wanted for months and it only cost a few strange coins. It was great for about 30 minutes. Then I started to realize, "what's the point of playing now? This game is nothing but a grind for loot that Xur will eventually sell". This is when I started to notice how boring and low quality this game is. It was an obvious cash grab, even people who love this game have to admit that. Also it seems like it had a story written by the child of activisions CEO (the child is slightly ADHD and has a weird fascination for shitty dialogue). As well as it is an "open world" game with no open world. There really is no world, you get 4 planets with the same circler map pattern that has a few random paths leading away (mainly inaccessible unless in a mission), but thats not it. The Tower and reef (which was supposed to be in the main game but got sold back to us for 20$) have nothing interesting at all. I have spent time going around just walking through all the random robots and people who are walking around the tower, the devs were to lazy (or untalented) to make solid npc's(unless of course in the taken king dlc you find out that youre actually a phantom). But I still like the game. Trials is fun kinda. I only play pvp now (strikes leave a funny taste in my mouth now) and its fun. It took my 3 months to level up my titan because I couldn't stand to pkay the story again. So tl; dr: this game is fun if you like doing the same things over and over hoping that youll get a new thing from it (isnt that the definition of insanity? Ha, look at me connecting dots) Ps That Luke Smith guy from that interview should be fired for being terrible and his job and as a person.
