legendaries are one thing but exotics are a different story. you can only equip one, therefore they would expand the variety of gear being used if the options for that one slot was huge. gally and thorn got a nerf so a lot of weapons could easily compete with them making the verity even bigger. leaving exotics behind is dumb and they will hit the brick wall where everyone uses the same exotics again and it'll be year one all over again and it will be a never ending cycle of fail and crucible crying. seems obvious to me and a week into TTK everyone will look the same just like house of wolves lol. all I can say is if they stick to this decision, the amount of weapons and armor for lvl 40 better be insane.

  • Yes Gally is getting a nerf, but it could still easily compete with new exotics and possibly out compete them. Yes there is a possibility that there will be new OP exotics like Ghorn or Thorn, but the point is we wont be using Ghorn until Y7 of Destiny

a simple weapon balance could fix that and could have already once we see what the gally nerf is like. I mean worked to get everyone was using auto rifles, and now we have a much more variety is crucible than it was at the beginning. if the variety isn't big enough it'll just be a new gun that takes its place. variety is everything and taking things away will be a massive mistake if they do not have a huge variety of things coming to take their place, and I mean HUGE, well balanced, amazing armory to make it okay. if everyone doesn't look the same at level 40 a month after the game drops then my opinion will definitely change, and I hope it does, but destiny just doesn't have a history of creating a armory large enough to make there decisions productive. couldn't type for shit typing that lol

  • No worries, about the typing. But Bungie has already said that the armory released in TTK will be bigger than base game. They did nerf autorifles, and if you remember theyve also put nerfs on handcannons and they are still the most prominent weapons in crucible. Just simply nerfing weapons wont cause them to be balanced, even if Ghorn is not being upgraded as a year 2. You can still use it, it will still be a possibility, just no longer the best

  • true. I could care less about gjally, but there are more unique guns that will be sad to see go and I would hate to see a lack in variety of guns and also unique guns for that matter. 1 million suros guns with only one perk different than the other means nothing, ya know. I'll have to see what they mean by huge armory
