A "Black" person just threatened me over Xbox live by saying "N i gga if I ever saw you I would beat you ass" Note this is in a chat party. We warned him several times that we were going to kick him and He didn't leave. So we kicked him. Then he starts spamming me with chat party invites. I join after the 15th or so. He yells at me then threatens me like above. So I preceded to call him the N word.
I ask you floodians am I in the wrong?

-
Иiggа?
-
Well personally yes. But if that were me I would have probally done the same. But I wouldn't have joined the Chat. I can't play games with angry raging people. If you get on my nerves your off my friends list and blocked.
-
Yes, just because he's aggravating you doesn't give you the right to call him a racial slur, and I'm not saying he was right either. You guys were both wrong.
-
Edited by Banjovi: 8/26/2015 12:24:25 PMjust call people a -blam!-rd. gets the point across without you technically being in the moral wrong. EDIT: and apparently bungie frowns my use of the word synonymous to stingy that just so happens to sound like the N word.
-
Op you are not in the wrong, the other guy was being an asshole. Also:
Once again, the anonymity of the Internet comes into play with people saying things they would not have the balls to say in a real-life situation. Also for clarification, the N word itself is not racist. It's the context and tone in which it is used in. I've seen white and Hispanic people saying it in "Yo, what up my n**ga." And the black person responded in a positive way. What people lose their mind over is when it's said in a derogatory and aggressive manner. Which contrary to popular belief, can be said by anybody and get the target mad.
-
Yes. He was trying to get a rise out of you. We shouldn't stoop to that. He's not an asshole because he's black. He's just an asshole.
-
Not really. -blam!- em.
-
Nope, well played
-
No. If he reacted like that, then by all means, go to the extremes. It won't matter. He lost his rights to be treated like a human the moment he started acting like a dumbass
-
I'm going to guess 13 years old
-
Negus
-
Nigerian?
-
Well N I gga is not the correct term for what you think in the dictionary it mean "ignorant fool" so too me you aren't wrong and I'm African American but if you said it with an "er" then yes you be in the wrong.
-
I ain't sayin' she a gold digger
-
Tea bagged a guy and he said rly (insert bad words)
-
No Burns. I hate that
-
Shoulda told him that white van down the street is coming to get him. Odds are there is a white van on about every street.
-
Play search and destroy with me and they'll be N words all over the place lol
-
Edited by Krash Nebula: 8/25/2015 10:39:40 PMDepends if you said nigger or nigga
-
The hard "r" pronunciation is what makes it a racial slur
-
You could have done better on the insult. But you were definitely well within your bounds to call him whatever you pleased.
-
White people can't say nîgger, but they can say "Sorry about that, Officer." and "Hi, Dad!"
-
NIGGERS
-
But say as that guy was an a sshat that he deserves what you said but try not to stoop to people lvl who are like that because you are a better person then they are.
-
Are you white? You were wrong. If you're anything else, you're fine.
