So I quit drinking soda pop 7 days ago, it sucks. I exclusively drank fountain drinks only, but had at leas one large drink every day. I don't drink coffee, energy drinks, or tea. So far I've been having lots of strawberry banana smoothies, apple juice and water. Anyone else not drink pop? What are some good alternatives?
Edit: so even though I mentioned water in the OP, we have had 20 mentions of water along with a few other popular suggestions such as;

Good on you! Here's some fun math: A can of soda is about 138 calories. One a day = 138 x 364 = 50232 empty sugar calories a year. 50232 / 2000 calorie per day recommended diet = 25 days worth of food. So by drinking a 12 oz can of soda a day you're pretty much taking in a months worth of calories every year in the form of high fructose corn syrup.

I quit months ago. Every time I decide to indulge an drink a 12 oz can, I can't finish it. It's disgusting and waaay to sweet. But it's a great life choice. Stick with it. As for alternatives. I almost only drink water. I drink coffee, tea, and juice. Even low sugar Gatorade is too sweet.
