Right now our class items are just nothing more then somthing nice to look at, but it looks like that with the release of the taken king this will change. I believe this is a good thing, however I was wondering if only the new class items would receive this blessing or would there be a way to turn in our old class items for an updated one? Personally im in love with the original iron banner class item skorri's iron bond for the warlock. It is by far the coolest looking class item I have seen. It is so awsome to gaze upon I would probebly rock it into the taken king knowing my stats will be lower. This saddens me as a gamer as I very much enjoy building the strongest character possible whenever I play a game, usally spending forever tryimg to grab the best gear even if its just a minimally better then what I currently have. However just being good isnt good enough, you also have to look good which is an entirely different battle in its own endeavor. Also in the taken king it apears as if you will be able to gain reputation for the diffrent faction not through the class item but by pledging or signing a contract with one of them. Im not entirely sure how this is going to work out but how will the system handle a dead orbit class item wich reddirects reputation from vangard and crucible into dead orbit reputation while im pledged to the a diffrent faction like say future war cult, or even if I pledged to dead orbit with the class item equipped. So then what will become of faction old class iteams
