I'll never understand why people do shit like this, but hey, you can look like an idiot to the rest of the world (outside of Destiny fans) if you so wish.
Edit: FFS some people on this forum are incredibly dense. Read things and understand what I'm saying before you try to use the few brain cells you have. I'm not saying people always get tattoos to impress others or that I'm trying to "tell people how to spend their money or live their lives" - I'm saying how they'll be viewed outside of this community for it and that I personally wouldn't do it for that reason. Good god.
I feel like I have to write an essay to explain an opinion nowadays (especially negative ones due to people blinded by butthurt).

Tattoo's are personal things, if you are getting one to impress others you are getting it for the wrong reason. I have many, and some would only ever appeal to me like my gay pony jizzing a rainbow.

Others have replied but I will say the same to drill it into your head. People do not get tattoos for your approval. They do it for themselves. If you do not understand it, do not judge it.
