No one ever forced you to use it. You could have/can hang it up anytime and let others have fun in their own way.

True, no one told you to use it. No one required gally to join an LFG group. No one in your fire team would be upset if you're in a raid or a nightfall and you decide to not use a broken weapon because you're bored of it. You're absolutely right no one told you to use it.
