I want to discuss a serious subject about scalpers/scammers, which I feel as if its been getting really bad lately in the gaming/collectors world. To bring the relevance to this game we can just look at the Blacksmith shader and how something that was handed out for free is now being scalped and charged anywhere from $30-$200 may be even more, or people are scamming others for trades or followers. As a collector of amiibos I cant tell you how frustrating scalpers are to me, but its one thing if its something physical like an amiibo (which is still ridiculous) versus digital content that a developer could easily (and safely) sell on their own so that their customers dont fall prey (or are at least less likely) to scalpers and scammers.
My simple request is that no one feed in to scalpers, hackers or scammers, especially not for something digital. I'd like to call out to Bungie to help address this issue, as I feel like its created an environment where people are scamming others for money, services, trading things without holding up their end, or just boosting their follower base for something that should be accessible through the game itself. I would rather give Bungie my money than see more people fall victim to scalpers and scammers. #stopscalpers
side note: to all the people who have been true to giving out items for free, right on and thank you for not feeding the scalping machine
