Im fine with it because it's an mmo, and it's normal for gear to become obsolete with every expansion I got used to it along time ago.

It's not ususal that gear becomes obsolete as TESO proves it. And in WOW it takes almost two years before a new expansion comes out. In Destiny our gear becomes worthless after a few months...
