Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
I'm in favor of progression and am looking forward to collecting and enjoying the new pieces
I'm not terribly attached to any weapon (except vision...sad face but I'm over it)
The game can never truly move forward unless we are forced to leave things behind, otherwise the community won't let it
I understand the grind and I understand people are going to be upset but when it comes down to it it is necessary for the game to grow
For example how can we have bosses that have unique attacks and aren't bullet sponges if we remain capable of burning it down with ghorn in 30 seconds?
How can we be challenged by new story and strike content if we can hang back and snipe with ice breaker, a weapon I affectionately call the cheat code?
We have been playing all the content the exact same way because we have figured out what is most efficient, time for us to figure out a new way
Again I get why people are angry but I'm not terribly upset, im even excited! We are about to get something NEW!! And we will have to figure out new strategies to beat it. Isn't that exciting? Remember the feeling during Beta and finding the Grotto? Or your first time on Venus? How can we feel that way again if we know we can ice break the shit out of anything? Or that we can burn any boss or mob? We are about to get as close to unknown as we veteran players can and I'm pumped
