Being useless isn't cool. That's why you should address it right away. Not try and out-douche the guy later.

It was his match, he can do what he wants. That bro wastes peoples time by being a lazy asshat, nothing wrong waiting till the end to kick him, I personally would have addressed the issue asap, but the way he delt with it shows a fair amount of patience, and when the dude didnt change his attitude, whatever. it is what it is. The guy could have been taking care of a RL problem, like changing a babies diaper, i know ive done it once or twice on emergencies but whatever.

Of course he can "do what ever he wants". Being a douche is always an option. The kind of person who doesn't address the issue right away is the kind of person who is looking forward to participating in douchery. The kind of person who makes a proud post in a forum about said douchieness is a douche. I totally 100% respect the dude's right to be a douche. My original comment wasn't supposed to be an insult as much as an observation. But I'm glad you're here to defend him anyway. Cheers.
