Booted a guy at Treasure Room, no regrets.
[b][u]Before anyone gets all salty and abuses me in the comments, have a good read.[/b][/u]
So last night a friend and I were going to dive into a level 34 PoE, and as per usual we go LFG to get a third Guardian to help us.
For anonymity's sake we're going to call this guy "SuperScrub". SuperScrub replied saying he was, and I quote; "Highly skilled, all exotics, maxed Gally."
Naturally my friend invites him and we get on our way. The problems start here.
He joins and he's a 33 Warlock. No problem, my friend is 33 and I'm 34, no issues here. Skill is key.
When my friend and I are jumping around, blasting the heck out of Vex and this guy is just standing in a corner of the room, not doing anything. Of course, he dies. We both then get messages from this guy. Weird, right? It gets better. He's typed up some long ass message basically saying "Join my clan PLS IT'S SO GOOD."
My friend is the founder of his clan, and I the admin of mine, so we kindly decline this and keep playing.
Only he doesn't do anything. Every room, he just stands still, dies, pops his Fireborn, and dies again. The epitome of skill.
Through much pain and suffering, my friend and I manage to get to the end, punch Gulrot in his ganky face and get praised by Variks. The dude of course is magically active now, as the sweet prospect of rewards is dangled in front of him. My friend and I sail down to the bottom and wait.
The second he touches down, we both wave, and I kick him.
I don't reward Leeches.
TL;DR : SuperrScrub LFG leech got booted at Treasure Room for leeching.

Wish you could do this in regular strikes. I have been farming for the Hopscotch in Dragon Strikes and I rarely get 2 active squad mates. There is always at least one guy who never moves from the spawn. Of course it's easy to beat these level 28 strikes but it does take longer when short handed.

5 RepliesI read it all. Edits included. I can see where this is going. The only question is why wait until the end? Why not kick him on the second round. So you waited until the very end of the game to just kick him? That just made you 2 get to this kids level of whatever is wrong with him. Next time kick the player sooner and get someone else.

12 RepliesApparently, I disagree with the majority of the Destiny player base. We all seem to have forgotten that these games are all in fun. You people condemning the player who got booted are the same people who abide by the simple and illogical philosophy of "He just sat there while the other players did all the work." I'm sorry, but when did gaming become "work"? I have fun playing Prison of Elders whether a player is standing around or not. To me, it's more fun to try and 2 man it than to immediately try to invite someone else in. If I start dying a lot or we keep having to start over, that's when it becomes irritating and I'm not having fun anymore. It's at that point that I'll boot the person not playing and try to get someone else in. I'm sorry but you waiting until the treasure room to boot him in order to "teach him a lesson" , which he probably won't learn because he's obviously done this sort of thing before, that's just you using that opportunity to troll another player and look like the innocent one. Sure, maybe the player standing around might be trolling in his own sort of weird way, but that's when you boot him and find someone else or just 2 man it, LIKE YOU DID ANYWAY. To me, you're just as bad of a troll as the guy standing around.

Ummm, why wait till treasure room? If he was unhelpful you should have figured that out by round 3 and booted.
