Booted a guy at Treasure Room, no regrets.
[b][u]Before anyone gets all salty and abuses me in the comments, have a good read.[/b][/u]
So last night a friend and I were going to dive into a level 34 PoE, and as per usual we go LFG to get a third Guardian to help us.
For anonymity's sake we're going to call this guy "SuperScrub". SuperScrub replied saying he was, and I quote; "Highly skilled, all exotics, maxed Gally."
Naturally my friend invites him and we get on our way. The problems start here.
He joins and he's a 33 Warlock. No problem, my friend is 33 and I'm 34, no issues here. Skill is key.
When my friend and I are jumping around, blasting the heck out of Vex and this guy is just standing in a corner of the room, not doing anything. Of course, he dies. We both then get messages from this guy. Weird, right? It gets better. He's typed up some long ass message basically saying "Join my clan PLS IT'S SO GOOD."
My friend is the founder of his clan, and I the admin of mine, so we kindly decline this and keep playing.
Only he doesn't do anything. Every room, he just stands still, dies, pops his Fireborn, and dies again. The epitome of skill.
Through much pain and suffering, my friend and I manage to get to the end, punch Gulrot in his ganky face and get praised by Variks. The dude of course is magically active now, as the sweet prospect of rewards is dangled in front of him. My friend and I sail down to the bottom and wait.
The second he touches down, we both wave, and I kick him.
I don't reward Leeches.
TL;DR : SuperrScrub LFG leech got booted at Treasure Room for leeching.

I am on the fence tbh about booting at the end. Personally I would have booted him the moment I realized he was a squeaker who just used people for loot :) Everyone to their own though :)

I am not sure what is worse, the fact you kept him in the game for so long, or the fact he was so useless. And to boot him at the end was just cruel. Yet he deserved no reward for sponging. However, well done completing the game baby sitting some wanker that wasted your time. Nice one.

Atta boy! My kind of friend! Boot the leechers! I was doing a nightfall with a guy and he sat around, and did nothing the whole way through. After the boss was 80% dead his friend joined him and the boss was dead by the time he finally landed. I booted both after the boss was dead, but rewards weren't given yet, and oh man the fish in the ocean started to die, because they took all the salt. TLDR: don't leech and you won't have a problem.

I just love those aholes who go afk and bounce so they don't get kicked to orbit. What happened to you is a bit different, but along the same lines. You have to be a prime time retard to spend money on a game to not actually play it. It's like "I really want these rewards, but I just don't feel like playing the game. Let me rig my controller while I jerk my 4 inch dick to anime."

I'd criticize, but I can't really say I would have done any differently. What's more, you probably taught him a valuable lesson about leeching. And it's a potential strategy in dealing with leechers in the future: dangle loot in front of them, and yank it away so they know what they made themselves miss out on. Interesting work.

I think he made you do PoE with only 2. he didn't "put in work," so I doubt he expected a reward. he probably say there with a buddy laughing at how long you guys were just leaving him on your fireteam. guy you kicked put it 0 effort & got 0 reward. you & your teammate worked extra hard just to get the same rewards that you would have gotten if you kicked the AFK'r & picked up a new teammate.
