Booted a guy at Treasure Room, no regrets.
[b][u]Before anyone gets all salty and abuses me in the comments, have a good read.[/b][/u]
So last night a friend and I were going to dive into a level 34 PoE, and as per usual we go LFG to get a third Guardian to help us.
For anonymity's sake we're going to call this guy "SuperScrub". SuperScrub replied saying he was, and I quote; "Highly skilled, all exotics, maxed Gally."
Naturally my friend invites him and we get on our way. The problems start here.
He joins and he's a 33 Warlock. No problem, my friend is 33 and I'm 34, no issues here. Skill is key.
When my friend and I are jumping around, blasting the heck out of Vex and this guy is just standing in a corner of the room, not doing anything. Of course, he dies. We both then get messages from this guy. Weird, right? It gets better. He's typed up some long ass message basically saying "Join my clan PLS IT'S SO GOOD."
My friend is the founder of his clan, and I the admin of mine, so we kindly decline this and keep playing.
Only he doesn't do anything. Every room, he just stands still, dies, pops his Fireborn, and dies again. The epitome of skill.
Through much pain and suffering, my friend and I manage to get to the end, punch Gulrot in his ganky face and get praised by Variks. The dude of course is magically active now, as the sweet prospect of rewards is dangled in front of him. My friend and I sail down to the bottom and wait.
The second he touches down, we both wave, and I kick him.
I don't reward Leeches.
TL;DR : SuperrScrub LFG leech got booted at Treasure Room for leeching.

You could have easily kicked him early on when you first noticed him being inactive/unhelpful and could have found someone else. Instead you chose to act immature and also decided to post this story on the forums looking for some sort of praise from the community. Grow up.

2 RepliesGood if only we could boot leaches in strikes and weeklies. Those worthless bastards. If I notice someone is leaching I will just kill enemies at spawn and waste time. Usually they will leave when they notice their meal ticket isn't working. Good fu. If they happen to stay I will sit and kill at spawn for about 30min. If they are still there I will then leave. So they basically just waste time with no rewards. (I don't need anything in this game and just play because I'm bored. So I have no issues wasting time with leach.

Honestly you only made it harder on yourselves when you could have had a 3rd person helping. So basically because you wanted to screw this guy over you handicapped yourself. Seems like a bit much to me.

Edited by Hugebones318: 8/21/2015 12:18:19 PMthis happened to me. except i was doing all the work and saved the team from a wipe on the bridge on hard crota. i got kicked at crota, most likely because of someone else wanting to join. dont get me wrong i praise this guy for what he did, and it should teach that guy a lesson... hopefully. oh well. at least i got the checkpoint pm me and ill tell you the name of the guy who kicked me.

If you and your friend are so good that you completed it with absolutely no help from a third, why were you on LFG looking for help? If you're one of those people who gets his rocks off kicking people at the treasure room because of low grimoire, fewest kills etc, just man up and say that. No need to make yourself out as the victim to justify being a dick.

Not a fan of booting people, but in this case Mr. Scrub-lord deserved it. Actually kicking him early would probably not have taught him anything since this is likely something that he does regularly. Making him wait until the very end before he gets the boot may make him think twice about the 30 minutes or so he just wasted for nothing. Hats off to you.

4 RepliesWhenever the walking tall bounty is on, I always get put with people who just go afk in spawn as they don't want to die. Needless to say I always run them over with my sparrow.
