Are some Exotic Bounties class-specific?
I have gotten the vanguard missives probably about 8 times. Every single time I get to choose from:
A Light in the Dark (Thorn)
Toland's Legacy (Bad Juju)
A Dubious Task (Invective)
I had accepted and dropped 2 of them early on when I refused to try PvP. Eventually I accepted them and nutted up and did the PvP parts and completed all three above. (BTW, thank you Bungie for these bounties, I enjoy PvP now because these bounties made me learn enough about it to be enjoyable, even if I am still not great at it)
Have I just been unlucky to not get the other bounty offerings for Super Good Advice, Pocket Infinity, Fate of All Fools or is there some trick to it? I only play Warlock currently, are any of these tied to class?

Turn in crucible bounties to have a better chance at the other ones.

The guy was convinced that when he has the 3 of them open / accepted / incomplete in his bounty list... that the RNG then assigns him a 4th different one at a better rate. Again, this could've been just a very convincing guy trying to say the equivalent of "Opening your vault 50x in 2 minutes guarantees your next drop is a GHorn" or something. It's hard to tell sarcasm or context in a forum post. But... I guess it's worth trying if you are getting those 3 often enough.

4 RepliesAnd just like that, a few days later, I got the bounty for Super Good Advice with two of the other bounties I have already done. Only have to wait for the Pocket Infinity one now.

I have received all of them many many times all using my hunter turning in regular vanguard bounties.

2 RepliesYou need to do crucible to get the crucible missive which will have the other group of three bounties. Doing nothing but vanguard bounties will only get you the exact same group of bounties.

No I got all of them on my hunter, but pocket infinity took a really long time to drop

no those ones are just far more common.

They are not class specific. I have received all of them on every class.

4 RepliesI got SGA first week of Destiny. I've gotten about 56 Vangaurd Missives by now, and I only recently stopped doing them for the free Shard.

Exact same thing hapoened to me. I could only get the Bad Juju, the Thorn and the Invective bounty. But in the past week I've gotten both the Super Good Advice and the Pocket Infinity bounties. I'm a hunter btw.
