Yes. They have confirmed every single gun you have had (exotic only) will be a blue print due to the grimoire being able to track if you have had it or not.

Grimoire cards for some guns were available as codes, at the start of the game, so not an accurate track

They can see how many kills you have with the exotic, not 100% foolproof but it's hard to believe you wouldn't take an exotic for a test run before trashing it or storing it in your vault.

But there is a specific grimoire card for each exotic under the inventory cards.

I think those grimoire codes didn't unlock the grimoire card you unlock when you actually obtain the gun

Do you get grimoire for getting the weapon or just using it. I had a no land beyond, fire it 3 times and scrapped it lol

You get the grimoire as soon as you get the drop. You don't have to equip it or even use it.

I looked at my grimoire and I don't see it. I have looked at several profiles and havnt found the grimoire card for no land beyond on anyone's

Well you must be crazy because I just looked at your grimoire and I can see you have it LOL It is under inventory and then special weapons
