I didn't watch the stream but was wondering how they doubled vault size when they told us that they couldn't make the vault any larger than it is due to whatever with the last gen consoles. Did they simply accomplish this by creating more "vault" space through the use of different kiosks? I'm glad for the news but was just curious as to how they did it given what they told us prior. Thanks.

Well. This is simple. When several budding Destiny fans and self-proclaimed software developers claimed that "they" would simply create a page system for the vault, Bungie claimed that increased vault space couldn't be done due to the hardware limitations of last generation consoles. Now, when Destiny 2.0 drops, you have increased vault space due to a paged vault system. So, what is your conclusion?

They lied to us :(

They broke into everyone who had a 360/PS3 house and upgraded there system true dedication!! Or they just bullshited us in the first place one of the two

From what I saw they have made it so you flick between pages. You get 72 slots for both weapons and armor now. General is still the same I believe but not you only need to keep materials in there because all ships, shaders, emblems have there own panel where you can select them. For example if you unlock a shader it will be available to get again and again from the terminal.

Nice. Thanks for the info. Glad they were able to resolve it regardless, just hate that they were telling us we wouldn't be able to have more.

This. You swap pages.
