Call of duty has guns, what a -blam!-ing rip off from Halo. Yeah nice try but innovation what they are doing. Also when people say it is new and all that jazz, they are talking about CoD and how it is new TO COD. Not new all together.
-
Except for that halo was like the first "advanced soldier" kind of game, do it really didn't rip off titanfall, but they just didn't have the materials to make that back then.

Edited by Sora Orth: 8/20/2015 4:57:23 AMLolwut, BO3 has gotten crap about the wall run being like titanfall since it was announced, also I don't know if that a bad thing eather, titanfalls wall running is fun
-
Titanfalls mechanics are the best I have experienced in any FPS. I dont blame any series for being inspired by them tbh.

Except BO3 was in development WAY before Titanfall
-
Yea....I'm sure developers can't go back in and add things based on what is "trendy" at the moment.....
sarcasm
I know that they can, but I just don't like it when people say Treyarch "stole" wall running from Titanfall when it was actually in Brink first. So if anyone "stole" wall running from anything, then Titanfall "stole" it from Brink. But I don't see why someone "stealing" wall running from anyone is such a bad thing. Wall running is cool and shouldn't really be a trademark of one game.

No it wasn't
-
Yes it was. You can look it up. Wikipedia says that pre-production for Titanfall did start in 2011, but REAL production didn't begin until late 2012. Black Ops 3 didn't start development until a month after Black Ops 2 released. You can see the article here http://www.gamespot.com/articles/black-ops-3-dev-says-three-year-production-allowed/1100-6426998 Titanfall Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanfall
-
2011 they began development 2012 for Black Ops Brink did it first with their game
-
2011 began pre production, real development began in late 2012
-
Which month also 2011 was actual production because they said it was a 3 year game
-
Well if it's late 2012, then I'd say either November or December. Wikipedia said that pre production began in 2011, and development began in late 2012. It didn't specify what month. Also, if you don't know what pre production means, I'll be happy to explain it to you.
-
So they started working on BO3 in December 2012
-
Edited by ChunkyBiscuit: 8/20/2015 3:00:31 PMYes. Development on BO3 started sometime in early December. And pre production for Titanfall started around the same time, but development started early 2013.
-
Titanfall Started first
-
Edited by ChunkyBiscuit: 8/20/2015 3:06:57 PMPre production might've started first, but that does not involve developing. Pre production involves hiring the right people for the project, getting funding, getting the right equipment, and much more. It's not quite development yet. Also since Respawn was a new developing company, they had to take longer than other big developers might have had to be able to get a publisher that would want to publish their game. But Treyarch hardly had to spend any time on pre production because they were already a big company, and already had a publisher, employees, proper equipment, funding, and all that a developer needs to begin development. Titanfall might've started pre production first, but Treyarch started development first.
-
Titanfall started first In development BO3 started in mid-December
-
Titanfall started pre production first. BO3 started development first.
-
Titanfall started development in 2012
-
Titanfall started pre production in early 2013. That's not the development stage
-
No they didn't

Do you have any evidence? I've provided you with two articles stating the time that both games started development, yet you haven't given anything to support you claim.
