This really is what I hate about the other side of this debate. No actual reasoning, logic or evidence that making year 1 weapons and gear obsolete is going to improve the game, jut assurances that Bungie knows what they're doing, and that we'll like it in the end. I'll say to you the same thing I say to everyone that tries to tell us to let it go: 1) How does making my weapons and gear obsolete improve my gameplay experience? 2) How would carrying them over into year 2 harm the experience of other players? Answer those two questions well, and I might reconsider my position on the topic.
