If you can't upgrade old exotics then explain why this helmet starts at 180 but still has the upgrade nodes?

So u expect a few upgrade nodes to take it from 160-280? Get -blam!-ing real kid. Maybe 200. Still will be irrelevant in endgame everything.

Please post times of when this is confirmed. I've watched the video and I didn't say anything to confirm they will be upgraded to max level.

You are indeed correct. They did not mention or show upgrading regular year 1 exotics at all. Year 1 exotics do not have the infusion perk.
