They showed the attack damage of the old suros at 160, while the new one was at 280 or whatever

The new suros doesn't have attack nodes you need to level where the old one does. So once upgraded it will do more attack damage.

True, but we still don't know for sure if old exotics will reach max damage

I'm sure they will. Or at least be really really close. Close enough to where I'm at least won't really care because I love my exotics.
