Bungie's STREAM 19/08 - Everything from the stream! DOUBLED VAULT SPACE!!!!!

- Emblem, Exotic, Ships, Shader collections,
- 40 Levels to level up by EXP,
- Light level will be Defense and Attack into one stat,
- Stats (intellect etc.) have more detailed info like "cooldown" time.
- You can track your bounties!
- You can finish bounties without going to the tower,
- Spark of Light boost your new character to level 25!
- You can pick the weapon you want to show in the tower,
- Class items are useful now,
- Faction packages are GUARANTEED LEGENDARY GEAR!!
- Higher chance to get a shader from packages etc.
- If you have a specific shader you will have a higher chance to get a different one!
- Exchange materials for reputation in factions,
- Nightfall tier rewards from 1 weekly bounty!
- You can earn how many marks you want(limit is 200 but when you use them you can play more and collect them again and again)
- If you earned a specific exotic in year 1 you have the upgraded version waiting for you in the EXOTIC COLLECTION machine!
- You can buy legendary engrams from Cryptarch!
- INFUSE! You can "upgrade" year-2 weapon by consuming other legendary weapon. Upgrade = increase attack number!
- Sword Weapon in the heavy slot,
- Motes of Light can be used to upgrade weapons in the Taken King,
- Artifacts will require Lv40 in order to use,
- Only Year Two legendaries create Legendary Marks. Year One make shards,
- Vanguard, Crucible, and One Pledged Faction gain Reputation all at once,

So this confirms there WILL be missions for all subclasses, not just the new 3 Edit: Actually, your second emblem link shows this, but for Sunsinger, so likely that had already been discussed

I know vault space was on everyone's minds but for a community liaison how the hell does he not ask any other relevant questions besides saying vault space on repeat. Psyched about TK but Jesus guys get your shit together, this is your job.

If you are 0 and use the lvl 25 Buff you don't have to lvl up 40 times... And you get Nightfall Tier Rewards not from just 1 Weekly Bounty... Its after you complete the FIVE RANDOM Weekly Bounty Challenges.

Congrats on your post, very detailed and it helps derp guardians like me (not a lot of Destiny time) understand the intricacies of the game. That said, although I find details on special chest piece perk facinating, these are some people I would also like to ask a few questions on the upcoming streams as story/narrative, music and character development topics seem to be totally absent from today's stream or any upcoming ones. I have 3x34s but on each of those characters I probably have full armor slots and only 6-7 of 40 pieces have been ascended. If you take an average of all my gear are you going to make me lvl32 or lvl 33, rather than 34? 2) Can we categorically get an answer about the game "remembering" all the shaders, ships and emblems - i.e. can we scrap some of that stuff now and expect them to be in kiosks? 3) same as 2) for exotics - will the game have every exotic blueprint for all exotics we earned in the game, regardless or whether we have them now or at launch? 4) If I shard my Plan C - for example - now, when I take the blueprint from the kiosk, do I have to relevel it? 5) do 331 and 365 attack values both equate to 160 in TTK? 6) Is the only reason to hang on to year1 legendaries now the fact that I'll get marks when I shard them when TTK drops? [edit: Planet Destiny say only Year 2 weapons shard to legendary marks - I have no idea why we should still hang on to Y1 weapons now] 7) If you have 200 vanguard and 200 crucible marks - how much rep does this equate to from the commendations you will find in the postmaster at launch? Also how many commendation will it equate to? - you know that people will be filling the postmaster with stuff to level up at launch, right? 8) are you saying that everyone will have 0 legendary marks at launch? 9) at lvl34 is their any point in using and levelling up higher attack value green weapons - or will the blue/purple drop rates mean you should save mats to level them when you get them? (similar to vanilla Destiny, just wondering what the drop rates are going to be in the first batch of 34/35 missions at launch? 10) can we rerun quests for activities we've completed without starting out new characters? 11) rank-based quests for factions - are these at fixed rank levels - so you will immediately get the quest if you're higher than that level on launch?

Infusion - so a regular gun can be ascended to raise its attack value from 280 (the infuse increased it to 288) to make it 'raid' level. So what is the maximum attack value for a gun? I get that they don't want everyone chasing down those best raid guns to be competitive & introduce a variety of equally capable weapons - but I'm a bit concerned that I will end up sacrificing a lot of weapons to make that one gun better, then find that when I ultimately get my hands on a raid weapon the perks will be that much better that I will stop using that gun I put all that effort into... Anyone else not quite buying into the infusion thing?

10 RepliesSadly, I do see vault space being a problem eventually with all those ghost shells, class specific items, and solar/void/arc buffs on the armor pieces. Each of my characters is aligned with a different faction too, so the weapon sets ... yeah. But it's nice to see they have done this much. And the shader/emblem/exotic vault will really help. I'm looking forward to TTK.
