Yet no first person shooter had done it before
Planetside did it years before Titanfall, which is partially what contributed to Planetsides demise. BFR's weren't a huge success with the playerbase.

Giant Robots? So creative. Yet no first person shooter had done it before Hawken Like I said, Hawken is based on you being constantly on a mech, Titanfall isn't, you have got no idea how great it feels to wall run towards a Titan, rodeo it, explode it, jump off and keep the smooth wall running going, it's an amazing adrenaline rush. Burn cards, What is this yugioh? Nope, quite different from it actually. Yugioh trap cards Lolno, do you even know what the burn cards do? Auto-aim pistol, what, Destiny's aim assist? Nah, this one is quite balanced. Balanced auto-aim? It seems like you just haven't played the game, it takes a long time to lock on on a player controlled enemy. If you're good at the game, anybody with SP is an easy kill, and most of the people who use it are looked down upon.

Edited by Beats: 8/19/2015 6:09:05 PMI have played the game actually. Quite enjoy it too. Burn Cards don't make sense to me as I can't see a good use to them other then the titanfall cooldowns. The pistol is easy to use as it takes up a good portion of the screen and you can upgrade it to have a larger area and I think there is a burn card or upgrade that reduces the time to lock on or whatever.
I have played the game actually. Quite enjoy it too. Burn Cards don't make sense to me as I can't see a good use to them other then the titanfall cooldowns. Most of the weapon modifiers are pretty useful tbh. The nemesis one is also great, the one that makes you look like a grunt, the one that makes any AI enemy except Titans follow you and help you when you get near them is amazing. The pistol is easy to use as it takes up a good portion of the screen and you can upgrade it to have a larger area The lock on takes far too long and it's just incredibly easy to spot where the person locking on to you is and kill them, it's also easy to just move way too much to get out of range or get behind cover. and I think there is a burn card or upgrade that reduces the time to lock on or whatever. I think so. But it is rare, and rare cards usually give huge advantages.
Yeah I haven't played it.much since I downloaded it as the Game Time on Origin. But I think I had one of those rare burn cards.

Titans = HAWKEN

Lolno. There's a difference between a game where you are constantly a mech, and a game where most of the time people are gonna be on foot and not on a mech.

Yes there is a difference but this is a question about originality, point is nothing so far has been original games these days are a mix of others or a rip off with a few added features
