Recently I had bought a pair of Turtle Beach EarForce x12's and I enjoyed them for the most part. Very comfortable for gaming binges but sound quality was a 6 at best. I had a pair of Tritton's in past years but they have since been lost during moves and possibly destroyed.
Now my question is, what headsets are good for gaming?
And before people start mentioning the Astro A40's and other super high end headsets, I'm on a budget. Roughly $150 and under. I can stand to go up $170 but no higher. Preferably without a mic because I'm going to be getting an AntLion ModMic 4.0 because I really like the sound quality and frequency response/noise cancellation.
So what headsets do you guys use and what would you recommend?

Triton Kama.

Edited by Brigadier Fox: 8/18/2015 9:09:04 PMI am currently using Steelseries H Wireless headset, but those probably fall under your high end category. My favorite budget headset is the Logitech G230 headset. Very large, comfortable ear cups, nice audio quality, pretty durable. You can get them relatively cheap if you find a sale on them.

Edited by I Love Mai Waifu: 8/18/2015 8:51:46 PMI use Turtle Beach XO7s for Xbox One. These are very comfortable with decent audio. You can remove the mic if you want. I don't have a PC headset right now but I'm looking at either a Razer Kraken Pro or 7.1 Chroma.
