Okay bungie, I love your game to death, but I am seriously dreading playing it everyday because of the connection issues. I have a 50 Mbps download speed with around 10-20 Mbps up. I have an open nat type and I never lag when in game. This being said I cannot log into destiny or even get to the character login without giving me the error code drum or centipede. When I do finally log into one of my characters after quitting destiny and restarting it for the 20th time I will be given error code weasel and taken back to the start screen where I have to repeat the entire process. I am seriously starting to dread playing your game. Please bungie. Fix the servers. That is all I have to say. Anyone else who is having connection problems even though they have amazing connection please comment or do whatever to get this message out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else seeing a increase in network errors after the last update? I never had a dump out in game play now it's happening 3 or 4 times an hour. Yes I have restated my modem and router and consol. So those are not the issues. I do not even see a error code. It just goes black and boots me to the home screen. Any thoughts.

On a PS3 and can't even make it through a story mission without getting booted. Super frustrating and makes me not want to play anymore. I have done all your little 'tricks' and 'checks'. It is not our systems Bungie.....please fix these issues.

i'm going to through my name into this hat too. same as KiloOscarZulu, but on xbox one. Exactly the same story. restarted the game, cleared my cache.. NOTHING works. my internet isn't great, no. but it's perfectly fine for this game the last two weeks. and yet since reset last night it's been terrible because i'm a [b]baboon[/b] or i'm too busy [i]reconnecting[/i] and [u]contacting destiny servers...[/u]. even been on the phone to xbox support in AU about it. so please Bungie. please for the love of us all. work out what's going on. and try to update us at least? i know BungieHelp twitter has posted: Bungie Help @BungieHelp Sep 30 The issues impacting some players' ability to connect to Destiny on Xbox platforms are subsiding. I'm having Baboon problems on PS4. Never really had issues until last week. Now it's Baboon every 10-15 minutes.

Same. Ever since yesterday, I've been getting continuous "contacting Destiny servers" error. I'm on the 360 in Australia. All my other games work fine, and I can be chatting with my friend over Xbox Live Party Chat while Destiny is trying to connect. So it can't be my internet (because everything else works fine) and it can't be Xbox (because Party Chat still works fine), which leaves Destiny as the culprit. I even rebooted everything - router, network switch, Xbox, but still constant "contacting Destiny servers" error. Please fix.

Can't log into destiny because of the drum error. Bungie says to restart the game or check your NAT type. My NAT is open and restarted several times, still can't connect. BS

I just can't fathom how you guys at Bungie weren't prepared yet again after already going through this before. Why do I have no other issues playing online multiplayer games other then yours? Please fix your servers, or implement a competent system. Seriously how much money have you made already? Use some of that to fix YOUR server problems. Stop placing the blame on NAT types. It's you not us. Most populated areas in America now have access to Comcast and Verizon, I know for a fact in Philadelphia Pennsylvania both offer base speeds of 10mbps +, which is relatively cheap. Going off that, most people have more then capable connections. Fix your servers!

Same problem here. What irks me is never having problems worth noting right up until the last update. Then this exact same problem you are having but I have changed nothing on my end.

Just a basic question, you have a great internet, is your console wired or using wifi?
