Here's my idea for a story for the third DLC pack, it's a summary of course and I've as well set a summary for DLC 4, but I'll post this first and see how it's received.

Destiny DLC III - Vex Animus
Locations:
Mars, Earth & Venus
Summary:
The Taken caused massive casualties, we won, but at great cost. We managed to reforge the hidden powers wielded by our father's during The Golden Age.
However; The Darkness still looms and has taken notice of our recent weakened state. The Vex. They've launched an all out assault on both Earth & Mars.
The Cabal may prove helpful here. The enemy of my enemy, is my friend. They fought alongside us on Phobos to rid it of The Taken, petty arguments set aside to achieve a greater goal.
They, too, suffered significant loses. Neither of us can withstand an onslaught from The Vex. However, together. Together, we might stand a chance.
In doing so, we may also have the chance to pull their defenses from "Freehold" and reclaim it, but why do they grasp it so tightly. Are there mysteries that we've lost, or perhaps never found buried beneath the sands?
We mustn't get ahead of ourselves, as we are playing a delicate game of chess here. One wrong move, One eager attack, and we could lose The City. Which brings another question. Are we the pawns in this cosmic game, being pushed towards a goal of which we think we've decided, or are we actually in control?

EDIT
This is taken from the update posted on 7/02/15, and supports this theory. It shows that The Taken & Oryx really are devestating mainly the Cabal (Mars) and The Guardians.
Redesigned and reimagined Strikes – Dust Palace, Undying Mind, and Cerberus Vae III – are now overrun by the Taken
If you like it; let me know and I'll post my summary for DLC 4, Forge of Gods.

Edited by sickflow: 8/17/2015 4:52:51 PMI had said awhile back I believe the next Vex raid will likely be Mercury. Just cause of how the Vex have transformed Mercury into a machine. Maybe we have to go in there and turn it back or something.
