What inspired your username?
Over the years I've come across alot if unique and wierd gamertags and psn usernames. So I thought I would make a post and see how you guys came up with them.
I created mine about 10 years ago when I was big into the game runescape. I really wanted it to be "awhisperinthedark" but it was taken already and I really didn't want to have number in my name. But after trying for a good hour with different variations I made mine darkvoice7 and had to settle with a number at the end which was my favourite number. Since then it's the one I use for all online games, and I use darkvoice8 for forums and stuff.
If we can get this trending and keep it trending then maybe we can get deej and cozmo to tell us how they got/came up with their names.
Edit: alot of these are really unique :-) it's cool to see how certain things outside of games can have an effect on how people made their names.
Edit2: over 150 replies wow! I honestly wasn't expecting that many :-) thanks to everyone for contributing. Im enjoying reading them, and I'm sure other people are too :-)

When I was younger me and my cousins went to laser tag a lot and this was what I used as the codename they. Been I also use "Aylin Moondown" a lot because that was the name of my first DnD character. I don't really remember how i came up with either of them though.

My intials and my birthday, 6/17/97. Couldn't use yg617 so with a little l33t knowledge ( lol ) i put two lowercase L's to make a '1' and capitalized the G. I had this username since i was ten. :)

One of my first Gamertags was BloodyTXStriker - and that was a microsoft suggestion so I kept it. And I was one of those Halo 3 guys that got a hold of a ton of 1 months and made new accounts all the time..I was bored. My last tag was Bloody Str1ker, and I was so successful with my gameplay, I kept it.

Originally it was RogueManic I always liked the rogue archetype (huntermasterrace) and manic cause it sounded badass. But I change it to InSaiyanRogue cause manic and insane are similar and I love dbz so it's a play on words

Back in 2009 a random said randomly "what do I call you" and I sarcastically said "You can call me 'CowFace'" and 5 years later I changed my gamer tag to 'CallMeCowFace'! :D

A couple days I realized I was banned from the forum (or it was a bug) and changed it to Lootcifer for the forum, just because. RNGesus is an asshole to me, so I'm going to the dark side.
