Edited by Æsir: 8/16/2015 7:37:01 AMNo you're wrong, not about the historical meaning of the word, you're wrong about saying I used it incorrectly. Oh and that argument you just used was terrible, look up the word "synonym" many different words can have the same exact meaning, but if you where a scholar of the English language like you pretend to be you'd already know that.
-
Its very often used incorrectly you know.
-
Not as often as you think it is, BTW. http://www.thesaurus.com/browse/decimate Look at the first synonym listed for decimate, what do you know......it's annihilate.
-
Decem = ten. Yokels will continue to misuse the word im sure.
-
Just stop. He's destroying you with facts. Logic -blam!-ing you
-
Selective definitions etc. Im putting no energy into this, doesnt change the fact that im right haha
-
No REKT is correct, you're clearly getting destroyed.

Edited by Æsir: 8/16/2015 9:55:33 AMDeci = a factor of ten, at least use the right derivation. What you don't get is that the meaning of words sometimes change over time, how much proof do you need placed infront of you before you understand the facts. Like seriously your total inability to understand this very simple premise makes you seem to be a "yokel" as you put it, seriously how do you not get this? Were you dropped as a child or were you spiked into the ground like a football after a game winning touchdown? Seriously are you gonna start arguing that December is still the tenth month of the year just because it starts with decem?

Says the guy who cant get "decimate" right.

Edited by Æsir: 8/16/2015 10:15:41 AMI used it perfectly correctly and proved it multiple times, not my fault that you're too childish to accept that.
