When Thunderlord dropped from a random loot cache while patrolling Rocketyards on the Cosmodrome one month into the game. Talk about winning the Destiny RNG lottery. Didn't even know exotics existed at that time, and I was a mere level 7; hadn't even unlocked the Moon yet.

Never said I was. But his dropped from an exotic engram. And we all know how much those exist in the game. And he could use a hand cannon as a special weapon. Plus, that was a developer, so of course he could have anything he want happen to him.
