I'm bored, so let's have a little fun. If you could create your own TV show, what would it be? A period drama? Action-adventure? Science fiction? Anime? Post a theme song, genre, as well as plot and themes if you desire. Let's see who can be creative.

Can I just make a movie? I don't think I'm creative enough to keep a show interesting for more than 4 episodes.

No one replies to quality threads anymore.

Edited by Mechetti: 8/16/2015 12:42:15 AMProbably a show similar to Fantasy Factory, but with me, not Rob Dyrdek. My theme song would probably just be a remixed Gambino song.

Edited by Puma Knight: 8/16/2015 1:09:49 AMI should probably have posted an example. I would make detective show with film noir elements. Theme Song: A Little Drop of Poison by Tom Walts Setting: Present? Plot: Since we have all seen basic police/detective shows before, I'm going to nerd this up a little. Since the 60's or 70's, people developing amazing abilities have been recorded (that's right, folks. Superpowers). While population of metahumans is still low, enough are appearing to warrant attention of the public and the governments. As such, major cities in the U.S. have begun to create police task forces to handle crimes involving metahumans. Since metahuman populations are still small, and with even less of a presence in the police force, the task forces are small and only half of the members have abilities of any kind. Basically, one detective is an average human and their partner is a metahuman. The story follows an orphaned, former petty street criminal turned cynical police detective. You know the type. Smokes a lot. Quite possibly a borderline alcoholic. Lives in a small crappy apartment and takes a bottle to bed most nights, He joined the police because he was tired of being on the losing side only to discover being an officer wasn't much better. With the development of a meta-task force in his precinct, he is teamed up with a metahuman teleporter. She came from an upper-middle class family when her parents died of a violent crime. She was then raised by a semi-abusive aunt as this was her only relative. She ran away several times, only to be returned before her abilities developed. She is more positive than our male protagonist and may have a greater sense of justice, but she is sympathetic to his pessimistic outlook. While there are metahumans, there will be no supermen. Those with powers will only have one ability. By most comic terms, everyone would be a b-list hero at best. Super strength may allow you to pick up a car, but not much more. Telepoters (a very rare occurrence) may only be able to travel 300 yards. Psychics of any form are almost non-existent and those with precognition are only rumored. I could go on, but most probably won't read all of this anyway.
