I was doing patrol on Venus in the Ishtar Cliffs trying to rack up some Fallen elite kills when a Wolf public event started. Things were going smoothly until the 3rd wave, where there was an extended delay where no ship appeared and no enemies spawned, even though the radar marker for the ship was visible. As I stood under the marker with a scorch cannon ready to tag the first captain that jumped out, the Wolfship suddenly spawned and plowed straight through the map into the horrible void below, crushing me instantly. It took my scorch cannon with it, as when I eventually chose to respawn I could see its light marker flickering slightly below where I could reach. So where do I go from here? I don't have max Grimoire but this is clearly the apex of my Destiny experience and I'm really not sure what else I can do. It's flattering that the Fallen think so highly of me that they decided to forego the usual "send waves of fodder" tactic and just go straight for the kamikaze, but now nothing else in the game presents even a remote threat. Tl;dr: Wolfship OP.
