Awarding people for nothing defeats the purpose of this game
I have played numerous RNG based games and I believe too much is going to change. Hopefully, it will be for the better. I finally got my Gally and 8 hours later everyone has it.. we earned it.. there should be an hours played limit in order to buy such rare exotics like the gally and Last Word.. I was stoked when I pulled Gally as my POE 28 unlock and Osiris chest for my 32 Hunter, 8 hours later I'm salty.. the point of the grind is the reward.. I understand most TTK weapons will be OP compared to a lot of the weapons now, but come on.. the levels are already balanced in crucible and Bungie is just sticking it in the faces of the grinders who just got it. They're trying to keep people happy, I get it. It is more satisfying to earn it in my opinion.

If that's the case then xur should never sell any exotic.. it's the way the games designed, oh well, nothing to do now except enjoy your gally with the hidden perk, because xurned gallys don't have it

1 ReplyThe problem with your logic is that seem to be under the impression that you're grinding for an expected reward. That's not how it works. If you knew something was guaranteed to drop for you, even if it was a .0001% chance, then I would say you were grinding for it. Random and guaranteed drops are very different animals. I've seen posts where people are bitching because someone got a gally as a random drop while being carried in crucible, among other things. I got a TLW in PoE the day before Xur sold it - I don't care. All that matters is I got the gun. It's all luck. That's all there is to it. That being said, I'm sick of the posts about this. So I bought the gally, BFD. I earned the coins to buy it with by doing things that guaranteed me coins. Therefore, I do believe that I DID earn it. How I got my gally should be of no concern to anyone, and other people having it has no affect on my life or yours. This earned vs xurned argument is silly.

Hours played limit, are you kidding me? It's random loot man. It is random. Everyone plays the same content as you or I buddy. So basically what you're saying is that not every player deserves the same loot as you? How is that fair? We bought the game, same as you. We play the game same as you do. Tell me, why is that different? For all we know you went 0-40 in crucible and " earned" your Gally. Elitist douche nozzle.

Truthfully, the ones who earned their exotic weapons are the people who saved up their coins from activities and bought them from Xür or received them after completing a bounty. You received your Gjallarhorn from RNG, also known as LUCK. Why does it matter? Maybe because you and people like you want to feel like special snowflakes and now it's harder to do so? Get over it and yourself. Be happy that some of your fellow Guardians were able to receive the mighty Gjallarhorn.

13 RepliesGrinding is when you killed The Warrior hundreds of times to get Conference Call, but you kept going as you knew it COULD drop from him. Loot in Destiny is random, anyone who gets an exotic from a drop is just lucky.

People get excluded from content because they don't have Gally. Now people have Gally and everyone who told you "No, you can't be in my fireteam", are bitching even more! I love how sad people really are! It should be "yay, we have more people who can play this end game content that we excluded them from cause we got lucky enough to randomly get our Gally" but NOOOOO...... Anyway Who cares?!?

I guess so. Idk why people wouldn't let other not join Crota with out a gally..you can two man Crota normal.. tripod and horseshoes makes any launcher pretty effective. I'd rather have an exotic chaingun.

U have to look a it this way if u just bout the game today you will have to beat the game story lvl up ur character and the play the weekly strike two times to get enough strange coins to buy the gally... which will amount to much more then 1 hour.. it actually a lot faster n less grind to get it the way you did.. ive been play since day one beating all raids night fall and strikes many times n played in the crucible countless times n never got the gally to drop i say for all that bought anything from xur has earned it.. heck if u bought the game n all the dlc that came with it that alone made u earn it.

I have at least 350 hours in this game and I had every exotic in the game but gally the playstation exclusives necrocasm and some eb's... I don't think it's fair rng hates some of us in getting weapons... But xur is rng too by the way so yea... And no one earned anything in this game
